It’s always an adventure when you set foot in Costco because you don’t totally know what you’re going to find. Sure, the staples will (almost) always be there, but the way Costco rotates inventory in and out makes for pleasant surprises. And while each warehouse is a little different from the next, you’ll find plenty of hidden treasures no matter which store you go to.
What we love about Costco shoppers is how dedicated they are to the store and to sharing their favorites with their fellow devotees. You can always find chatter on Reddit and Instagram about what they’re shopping for right now and what everyone else should be picking up. It makes it easier than ever to draw up your grocery list before you even set foot in the store. We checked in with Costco’s fans to find out what they’re buying right now—and here’s what we found.
Costco shoppers on Reddit are going wild for this chili and lime snack mix with flavored nuts and corn. It’s a little spicy and a lot flavorful—definitely the kind of snack you can’t put down. That’s totally OK, because it’s full of protein and has no artificial flavors or colors, so snack away!
Meli’s Monster Cookies cookie mix is now available at Costco, according to @costco_doesitagain on Instagram, and members say gluten-free snacking got a little easier and way more tasty.
The cookies are made with gluten-free rolled oats and have plenty of plant-based protein. These are a great option if you’re gluten-sensitive but still want to have a cookie or two (or three or four!) after a meal.
Not only do Costco shoppers enjoy the convenience of a microwavable soup, but it’s made even better by the fact that it’s Hello Kitty themed. This soup—also spotted by @costco_doesitagain—is akin to ramen and is a quick, easy meal that the kids will also be raving about.
With any microwavable soup, you’ll have to watch out for the sodium content, but on a rainy, chilly day, soup is the answer for everything.
The rich strawberry flavor on these crunchy snacks makes for a delightful sweet and salty treat that members have been devouring for a while. Right now they are a popular option spotted by Instagram account @costco.hotbuys.
The pretzels are oven-baked and then dipped in strawberry-flavored yogurt, which takes them up a notch from your standard yogurt-dipped or chocolate-dipped pretzel. These would be delicious with a bowl of fruit for an afternoon snack.
If you want a high-protein option for snacking and love potato chips, grab the Wilde Chips Buffalo Chicken Chips at your local Costco. These popular chips @costco_doesitagain saw in one warehouse receently, are made with chicken instead of potatoes, so they’re packed with protein. They’re also gluten-free and keto-friendly.
One Costco shopper called them “Bussin!” while another likened the texture and crunch to a Pringle!
Sure, cloud bread is easy enough to make from scratch, but sometimes you just don’t want to deal with it, and that’s where Cloudies Original Cloudbread comes in. Instagram account @costco_doesitagain posted about them recently, saying they are only available in select regions. That didn’t stop tons of fans commenting and begging for them to be added to their local lineups.
Now available at select Costcos, this keto-friendly bread is also gluten-free, sugar-free, and carb-free—but not flavor-free! It adds a bit of convenience to your day and fits into pretty much any healthy-eating lifestyle you have going on.
While these items are flying off shelves fast, Costco, Walmart, and Kroger Are Putting Purchase Limits on These Items.
