Phylogeography and genomic epidemiology of SARS-CoV-2 in Italy and Europe with newly characterized Italian genomes between February-June 2020
A total of 192 SARS-CoV-2-Italian genomes were newly generated for this study. Travel history was available for 137 (71.3%) patients. All of them reported no international travel in the two weeks preceding the onset of symptoms. One case of contact with a traveller from Bangladesh was reported.
