Did you know- By 1992,Brian Wellman of Bermuda came in fifth put in the men’s triple bounce at the XXV Olympic Games in Barcelona (Spain). His functionality made him the Island’s most outstanding athlete. In the subsequent Olympiad, he was a single of the world’s six finest triple jumpers.

Mexico 1975

Did you know- By Oct 1975, the Island despatched 14 athletes, four of them were women of all ages, to Mexico City to contend in the VII Pan American Online games. Curiously, the countrywide team was one of the smallest delegations in the global Video games. They competed in athletics (11), boxing (1), and sailing (2). Ironically, Clarence Hills, the Island’s most highly regarded athlete, did not go to Mexico.

Montreal 1976

Did you know- 1976 was a special year for Bermuda. Why? Did you know- By the early 1990s,Bermuda’s athlete Clarence Saunders took fifth put in the men’s high jump in the Game titles of the XXV Olympiad in Barcelona (Spain). With each other with Brian Wellman (triple jump), he was just one of Bermuda’s most preferred athletes in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
